Resumen:

La historia comienza con una batalla entre las fuerzas del Yoshitatsu del clan Saito y de la Oda Nobunaga clan en un enorme campo. Samanosuke is seen overlooking the battlefield on top of a mountain when some Oda soldiers come to take his life.
